Marketing Assistant

DEPARTMENT: Marketing REPORTS TO: Sr. Program Manager

Summary

Under the supervision of the Marketing Director, the Marketing Assistant will play a critical role in supporting the department. The Marketing Assistant will collaborate with Creative, Content Distribution, Sales, Product Development and Customer Service teams as well as outside vendors and partners. Performs administrative duties for marketing campaigns, content distribution, projects and provide overall support to the department.

Duties & Responsibilites

Administrative
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a promotional calendar and digital campaigns to facilitate their success
  • Assist in creating and maintaining an editorial blog calendar
  • Assist with event coordination and maintenance of multiple registration forms
  • Assist with partner promotions and campaigns

  • Ensure seamless distribution and accuracy of product catalogs from Content Management Platform (Salsify) to company’s site

  • Assist with product content management and distribution

  • Ensure seamless distribution of product catalogs across all distribution platforms such as Amazon, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Wayfair, Overstock and more
  • Constantly strive to improve distribution tactics with focus on efficiency, accuracy, and speed
  • Conduct regular content audits to ensure that content displays as intended and we have the best possible presentation across all distribution platforms
  • Optimize SEO, keywords and metadata for online presence
  • Research digital trends, tactics and industry activity
  • Traffic all print and digital ads
  • Assist with content for social media, blogs, videos, articles, presentations and other media
  • Email Marketing
  • Running email marketing campaigns end-to-end, managing email databases and creating newsletters
  • Managing email campaigns to grow audience and brand awareness
  • Ensuring all email campaigns comply with current email best practice in the industry
  • Identify target audience and grow our email list
  • Ensure mobile-friendly email templates
  • Upgrade our email templates using graphics, personalization and advanced features
  • Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements
  • Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts
  • Social Media
  • Maintain and enhance social media profiles
  • Develop new ways to leverage social media to grow our audience and brand awareness
  • Post and track performance of posts reporting, detailed analytics and recommendations
  • Monitor social media trends
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or business
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM
  • Hands on experience with HTML and content management systems
  • Familiarity with analytical and database tools
  • Proficiency in Google apps
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to work under pressure around deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively independently and within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing skills
  • Basic Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design) skills is a plus

  • eCommerce Account Manager

    DEPARTMENT: Sales REPORTS TO: EVP Business Development

    Summary

    The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of ecommerce retailers and developing partnerships in a highly-collaborative team environment. The Account Manager will thrive in an agile and fast-paced work environment with significant autonomy to drive results. Responsibilities include account management, business development and analysis, brand growth strategy definition for ecommerce channel, marketing program development and execution, and budget management.

    Duties & Responsibilites

  • Develop a working knowledge of eCommerce partners and their business strategy.
  • Build strong working relationships and collaborative strategies with each designated Account
  • Devise and implement best in class integrated account strategy to grow designated accounts
  • Drive sell-in of new launches and analyze business performance by account on a weekly basis proposing recommendations to drive eCommerce sales
  • Define and execute account growth strategies translating them into seasonal marketing plans
  • Assess performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing recommendations to maximize A&P efficiency based on ROI learning
  • Maximize brand exposure and optimize brand boutique on the eCommerce sites, updating content on a seasonal basis and communicating a consistent brand message online; work closely with Creative and Marketing to ensure that creative assets tailored to the eCommerce account are developed and available on time
  • Act as the key point of contact with accounts, managing and addressing daily requests, working closely with internal cross-functional teams
  • Define and manage spend budget as well as account P&L
  • Content management: Optimize customer experiences. Validate site spec requirements: attributes, product titles, descriptions, images, marketing materials and any creative etc.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree in communications, advertising or marketing (BA/BS preferred)
  • Minimum of 2+ years of eCommerce or marketing experience required
  • Proven Account Management skills required to create, maintain and enhance partner relationships
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver
  • Detail oriented and very organized
  • Technical competence (understand software, hardware, networks, etc.)
  • Motivated, goal oriented, Excellent listener, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • High level of initiative and works well in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
